Seems like just yesterday I changed my oil at 10k miles. I am at 15k right now and I was wondering if I had to change it at 5k with this synthetic oil? Stuff was pretty high at $35 with the filter. Can I wait a till 7500?

with analysis you could go 10k on a change easy. 7,500 should be just fine.

Pennzoil Platinum is a pretty good oil based on virgin oil analysis on BITOG...it's good for 10k easy.

The service interval in the owner's manual is 5,000 miles; if you want to make sure your warranty won't be a problem, stick to that.

I get Pennzoil Platinum for $20.50 at WalMart, and I buy a Napa Gold filter for $6.
