Any pass should work. the fishing lasts 1 full year but costs more and the recreation lasts between two dates lasting almost a year and is cheaper.

like shadow17 said. the rec pass only lasts for the physical year. So Nov1 - Oct 31 the fishing last for 1 years from date of purchase.

So yes if anyone is planning on riding then a pass will be required. The fine is $100 for not having it and everyone else in the group can lose their pass as well. They aren't always out there checking but I have seen them more times than not and yeah if they see a group then they will check everyone.

If anyone needs help getting a pass then just let me know in PM and I will pick it up for you. I know for Brunes to come from NO would be a pain so just give a shout and I have you covered for it.

Your sportsman pass (If issued by the Jackson Guard) will be good for trail riding out there.

If you do not have a pass then Jackson Guard is located @

    107 Highway 85 N Niceville, FL 32578-1905
    (850) 882-4164

It is pretty easy to find it is about .3 miles North of the Hwy 20 & Hwy 85 on the East side of the road. The rec pass I can't remember the exact cost of it but it is < $15.

Everyone over the age of 16 will have to have a pass to be out on the reservation.

(geezz.. I'm starting to feel like a rule Nazi or something.. but out there it is just how it is.)

VERY NICE!!! I always just assumed that because the trail wasn't blocked off that it was open  This helps A LOT!

There is no way to pick one up online. But with the right information some one that is local can pick it up for you. ie. copy of your DL, vehicle type and tag #. I have no problem picking them up for anyone that is coming from out of town and will just settle up before the ride.

I know that is "sensitive information" to be sending to a stranger. But it is the only way to go about it unless you already have an expired pass and can do it via mail or show up early at the office get the pass and then catch up to everyone on the trail.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it fellas. I would love to go but I'll be in the middle of the hardest phase of training. I'll see how it goes the next couple of weeks and give you a definite answer when it gets closer.
