    ok fair enough lol

I doubt it, but do any of you want to buy my stock tires and rims? I put the new ones on a while ago and never got around to selling the old ones. If no one wants them (which I'm not sure why you would, especially with the nice rigs you all have) I'm gonna put them on Craigslist. Just thought I'd try to keep it in-house first.

    Looks good aKabar!

Move update: Plans got changed again, I should be moving down in P-cola this weekend. We have it narrowed down to two rentals... one on Tippin north of I-10 and the other on Esplanade down in southwest area. Anyone have any info of these two areas? We've only seen pics and Google Maps so its hard to tell how the neighborhoods are.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Looks good man! Is that the area that is "restricted" but everyone goes there anyways? How do you get over there? I've been over at Eglin and never quite found that spot.

Most of the the pics were taken on non-restricted roads. We ride mostly off Highway 87 south. Some of the pics where there are power lines in the photos are closer to the river on the west side of 87. You have to turn down the road that says Buck Pond and then follow it around to the right. Not sure the road number but I will try to look it up for u.

I agree with Pro60... I'll be back in town around Christmas. We should plan a meet around that time.

On a different note... does anyone know a good shooting range? I tried looking online without much luck. I don't want to join a club with dues and stuff, just someplace where we can go and put some lead downrange. Any help would be much appreciated!

Might not be what you're looking for, but I've seen one on I-10W towards Mobile. You can see it from the interstate and it's probably about 30 mins west of Pensacola.

    MP2207,

Thanks for the info. If anyone else is interested it is the Styx River Range off the Wilcox exit in AL. My wife and I will be going this afternoon and let you know how it is. There is also one up in Pace, but its about the same distance.

We went shooting at the Styx River Range.

Take the Wilcox exit, and then make a right (hairpin) turn down the frontage road about a mile, you can't miss it.

Friendly staff, nice set up, a few different ranges (I saw a pistol, a rifle, and two skeet ranges) and a fairly well equipped store (ammo, targets, earplugs, shooting gear, etc). The range fee is $12/person for the day. They have new and consigned weapons for sale and they have shooting classes if anyone needs the class for a FL CCW. It runs $75 and is about 3 hours. They have a little website if you want more info.

+ rep for MP for the info! Thanks again!

At the end of September, I went shooting at Shoal River range in Crestview. I really enjoyed the walking range with all of the various clay throwers. They also have pistol, rifle, skeet, and regular clay ranges too. You only pay for what ranges you decide to use. Of course it's cheaper if you're a member, but you don't have to be one.

On a side note, I saw a really nice black Taco TRD Sport coming out of Hurlburt's main gate (it turned right/west onto 98 toward Navarre). I was right behind it and from what I could see, it had a 3rd brake light cover that lit up red "TRD" letters, it had big (19"??) black rims with low profile tires that actually looked really good, and the rear struts were yellow...so I don't think it was stock.

Any idea who it might have been??

Hey there! Good luck with the sale. Once you go for the new Taco, check out Eastern Shore Toyota just before you go across the large bridge into Mobile...it's where I got mine and it was (so far) the best buying experience that I've had. I never stopped by the P-cola Toyota dealer. I only dealt with them online a little...so I can't compare the two dealers.

I'm not a fan of good ol' Bob Tyler Toyota here in Pensacola. I've got one service rep there that i try to get everytime b/c everyone else is incompetent. Otherwise I avoid them and sometimes take the trip over to Eastern Shore.
