Doing brakes all around, CV shafts, hub assemblies, and sliders. probably across a few days this weekend

 

Don't forget Harbor Freight on Mary Esther just opened supposedly, I haven't been by there yet.

After two hours of sanding my sliders with a bad back, without making much of a dent, I have given up.

Anyone have a sand blaster setup? Or know someone who does, or someone who will give me a deal?

 

whats wrong with them? cant just paint them black and mount them? thats what Id do whenever i get my sliders

 

Covered in surface rust, nothing to worry about, just want it all sanded down before I paint

 

Could do a base coat of POR-15, then a top coat with whatever you had planned.

 

Planning on a coat of self etching primer then 3 or 4 coats of bed liner so it stays a ltitle better

 

I wouldn't even call it rust, more like surface discoloration like the beginning of rust, just thought it would be smarter to sand it off before paint

 

I say just paint em and bolt em on lol, not like its the end of the world if they get scratched or anything. just touch em up when they do get scratched

 

gauging to see if anyone wants these, I lookin in 2 weeks to buy my 35s so these should be available in the next 2-3 weeks

anyone interested in a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers? 265/75r16s, I've had them almost 2 years and they still have a lot of tread left. They all hold air but 2 of them have plugs since I picked up nails offroading (no idea how) they will be re mounted on factory TRD offroad wheels. I'm thinkin about $600 OBO for the wheels and tires together. I'd love to get these sold so I can get my 35s

Don't know how well you can see it, but all that dirt was in my radiator still....but I said fuck it and bought an OEM shroud since that Dorman one was a POS
