Penzoil Ultra

Anybody hear anything on this synthetic? Saw it in this months Motor Trend.

Edit....looks like it is going to be a higher grade than PP. Have to see if I can get some on next OIC.

 

go to www.bobistheoilguy.com there are plenty of discussions on Peenzoil Ultra. It is a higher grade synthetic than Pennzoil Platinum. It sounds like it's made to contend twith RP and Amsoil. PP is on par with Mobil 1.

 

PP is my oil of choice now. Bobistheoilguy is where I got that PDF from. Great info there!

 

Well, I stopped by Wally World and they have Penzoil Ultra in stock. The 5qt jug was $28 and an extra qt qas around $6. ~$36 for 6qts. about 6 bucks or so more than Penzoil Platinum. I went with a mobil 1 filter this time around as I could not get to the dealer to get a factory one. Next time I am buying two just in case I run into that problem again. I can't imagine the mobil 1 is any worse than the factory. A lot of peopole run them and recommend them.
