    yes, I think I'm lucky. The truck had an ETA of end of October, but it arrived today. I put a deposit down in April but upgraded to a premium package as soon as the configurator for the 200's came online here, on September 17th.

    Delivery will probably be next week. Just in time. I have a wedding to attend in Texas first week of November. Perfect road trip lol.

    My VIN starts with 5T, which means the truck is made in Texas.

    I don’t have a VIN yet but I’ll check it out when I do. I’ve looked at several Ontario dealers 2020 stock and haven’t found any Limited models so maybe they haven’t started that line :angrygirl:

    Looks awesome OP. I picked up my 2020 Sport last weekend cause I couldn’t wait any longer for accessories. Will have to go back when my pro grille arrives. Also waiting on bed lighting as it is not yet available for order my dealer said. My only gripe is that is has rumbling around 115 kph and I’m really hoping it’s a simple balancing issue that they will fix this week.

    What are the new style Ontario plates?

    I would have liked that the truck was built in Japan, but I think Toyota quality control is up to snuff. It's a world truck.
    I wouldn't be surprised that the Texas factory employs Mexicans anyway so I don't think it matters much.

    Here's the new Ontario plate. I think the slogan on truck will be 'Open for business'

    Lol yeah I think it will be because trucks have “commercial” plates right? However custom plates would likely have the “A place to grow” because my wife’s father has custom plates on his truck and they are blue letters, non commercial plates.

    Also when you pick up your truck (or before If you can’t help stopping by to take a look like I did) check that you back bumper is level. Mine isn’t and they have to adjust it. You can check easily by comparing the space in between the bumper and the bottom of the tail lights. Assuming that Texas quality is higher than Mexico is probably wrong lol.

    Do they even sell Tacoma’s here that have been manufactured in japan? Didn’t think they would.

    Thanks for the heads up, I will thoroughly check the truck upon delivery.

    All Tacomas are US/Mexican built and only sold in North America.
    Other markets get the Toyota HiLux. Most of those are Japan built, but they are not offered here. I'd say that the Tacoma is the better looking truck.

    No problem hope you are totally happy with your purchase!

    One more thing I’ll mention is when you use auto start on your key fob or phone, the vehicle will stop when you unlock the door to get in. There is no way around this you just have to restart it. Not sure if everyone knows that but it was surprising to me.

    My Tundra had about 165,000 km’s on it...still lots of life left for the new owner, they’re nice people and will take good care of the ol’ girl :yes:

    Purchased a 2020 TRD sport manual in cement grey last week at Tony Graham thanks to Guru for the recommendation. They were great to deal with

    Asked them not to do any prep when it arrives, so I'll get to peel off the stickers and do my own detailing.
    Should arrive before the end of the month. Stoked.
