Is it just me or is there a lot of gripping over these 3rd gens. This is my second tacoma (first being 2001 5 speed). I traded in my 14 tundra for a 17 trd sport and absolutely love it. All the negativity sucks

I totally agree. I love my TRD Sport 2017. No vehicle is perfect.

I love mine. The 10-12 people I have met that also have 3rd gens love them. I haven't talked to anyone in person that has been unhappy with anything on the truck except regrets for not getting certain options.

Dents in roof from poorly loaded canoe. Broken side mirror from blown transfer truck tire. Scuffed up front bumper from thinking I was still in a corolla. Graham cracker embedded upholstery from a crazy kid.
Mine is great so far. No complaints at all other than the fact that I can't get an aftermarket turbo. I don't even need a turbo, I just wanted to be able to say I had one.
