I haven't had my KO2's very long. What I can say is that they are quieter and ride smoother than Duratracs. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge of them so far.

i have the 285/75/r16 k02s. love them. amazing trction offroad. Kinda heavy almost no road noise in my truck. only had about 200 miles. went on a pretty good trail run and had absolutely 0 chunks out of the tire after

Yes but not what I would call heavy amounts maybe no more than 12-14 inches at a time.

I have them in 265/70/R17 in C-load to keep the weight down and a good ride. The E-load versions are as heavy as the MT KM2s.

I'm happy with them, they have better wet weather performance than Duratracs and ride quieter. Their trail performance was good with no chunking. (Not tested in mud). They look very aggressive and have the best factory siping I have seen. I would buy them again.

    That's lots

Snow perforance was the main reason I stayed away from KM2's , the KO2 has better snow specs

I've had 265/75r16 KO2's on my 2015 TRD Off-Road for a few weeks now. I was worried they might be too harsh (E-rated), but they're smooth, quiet and no noticeable effect on acceleration, although I drive like a grandma most of the time. Haven't had a chance to drive them off road or in the snow yet (obviously), but imagine they'll do great.

The specs on the KO2 are great compared to other tires.

My neighborhood is a bitch to get out of in the winter do too the only entrance being on a incline/decline depending on direction.

But I think mainly the most snow could be realistically 6-8 since they are slow getting around to plowing the streets.

I am not crazy about going off-road but have been known to get a wild hair every so often.

It also looks as if on road use holds up well too. I have also looked at the GY Wrangler AT Kevlar.

I just got mine about 2 weeks ago and I love them so far. They are aggressive enough, that I can see a real difference in off pavement grip, but not so much that I have do deal with loud noise at freeway speed. Overall, I think they're great. Looking forward to how they do in the snow.

By the way they are 285's.

I'm 100% satisfied with my 265/75 KO2 tires and my buddy likes his 245/?? KO2 tires on his 2005 Tacoma.

If I could go back and buy again I'd probably go with the narrower 245 tire since it is lighter and it would actually perform better in the snow.

I just had the 10ply LT265/75 R16 KO2's installed 2 weeks ago. They replaced the old style KO's that I got right around 46000 miles and still had miles to go so I gave them to a friend that needed tires. I am a BFG Fan so I am a little biased. I do have to say, The KO2's Ride Much Smoother, Quieter BUT I never minded how the KO's Felt But there is a difference. I had them in the mud today here in New Mexico and the mud here is a nasty clay, Slick as the Ice Storms in Connecticut and they handled Great. I Would Say BFG Made Some Big Improvements With These Tires, I would Recommend.
