Thanks Alex but trust me, I didn't start the idea. There are a few companies that make them, mainly for Jeeps and FJs. I have thought about doing the roof but it would mainly be for fashion. The only function it would really have is to protect it from roof rack items. The next vinyl that I would consider doing is a large bedside/tailgate wrap.

It will definitely be expensive especially since it's not just going to be a plain vinyl. I have a design that needs to be cut into it. I got a quote from "Fast Signs" for $400... Ya, I can wait lol

I am actually holding off on all truck mods for now since I just picked up a project motorcycle. I just got it running a few day and just took it out for it's first (very short) ride this morning.

Just about finished my OBA. I am trying to fine tune the it now. I would fill the 10 gal tank to 100psi in the evening and by morning it would be empty. I have been slowly going through and tightening all my connections. I am now only loosing about 5-10psi in a 24hr period.

I am planning on adding a small gauge in the cab so I know how full the tank is but wanted a nonregulated and regulated gauge in the bed for tools. I won't be doing it any time soon but I am doing a bit of research on pneumatic helper springs too. I am thinking I could do a softer leaf pack for off road but have a pneumatic helper spring for off road. I need to look again but I think I am at 11" of travel and these bags are good for 15" and have internal bump stops:

If you haven't already, use plumbers tape or something to that effect on any threaded joints. I used some blue stuff on a job at work recently that is a little thicker than the white stuff, but it goes to seal the threads themselves as well.

I used the tape on all threaded joints from the beginning. I have a few barbed joints though. I am thinking it is probably those or maybe I didn't tighten all my threaded joints down enough.

Finished working on the Rotopax mounts (now I just need to buy more Rotopax) and started looking at how to mount the basket with the RTT. I think I need to move the RTT back more but I didn't want it to over hang in the rear too much.

Thanks! I don't think I have seen your truck either. I lived in Bothell for a while but recently moved back to Gig Harbor (my hometown).

I do have to say I love those Walker Evans rims.

Funny, I lived in Mill Creek for several years before moving back over here too. I like the wheels also, but not sure about the lock rings. They have faded and I'm thinking about having them anodized again but can't decide on a color.

I spent time in Bothell and Mill Creek. Went to Mill Creek, Silver Lake, and Fernwood elementaries, then later ended up in Bothell high school. Lived next to the library in mill creek, close to the old fire station in silver lake, up off 180th between Bothell Everett highway and 35th, then later off granis road.

From what I have read on regearing, you may be better off taking the parts in to a professional shop. Things are supposed to be lined up to with 1/100th (one onehundredth) of an inch, and if a shop screws it up, you get a whole new differential at their cost.

I received and installed my factor55 prolink today. Tomorrow I should receive my 4.10 gears.

It took a whole 5 min from when I got the box to having it on the truck including finding tools (lock ring pliers) and cleaning up.
