perf tuning the '24?

Any1 tuning their '24 4cyl turbo? Any perf mods done? Bigger turbo? Blow off valve?

 

Seems only the rich or foolish would modify the power plant of a new release while in warranty.

But. I doubt it will be long before the party starts....

 

Should be a jb4 coming out sometime soon

 

I’ve got plans for some mods once this truck is out of warranty. I want to see what other people do and see how the motor holds up first though. One day I’d like to slap a bigger turbo on her. Hopefully Toyota gave us a solid platform.

 

I hope so there might be some cool stuff to see and the engine could might make some decent power. It's still a truck, so I wouldn't expect a lot of performance, and what's the point?

Tacoma + Performance will probably equal a Tacoma with loud exhaust.

 

JB4 is good stuff and I'm fairly certain they already have something for the 23+ Highlander with the 2.4L turbo so I'm sure it's right around the corner for the Taco. JB4 did a good job with the tune on 3.5L in the Tundra/Sequia. I'm with others here though, I plan on waiting a while before I mess with the drivetrain on it. Same reason I didn't do it when I had my Tundra and that worked out for me given the current recall my Tundra would have fallen under if I still had it

 

Waste of money….nothing wrong with the current stock tune .

 

I won’t hesitate to tune mine. Especially if OTT comes out with something. I’ll do it for the sake of the community and I have a hard time keeping anything stock
