A stock truck is worth more than one that can't drive above 60mph just saying:turtleride:.

IF you find the right buyer it could be worth that much. I wouldn't bank on getting what your expecting for it though. Once its installed on the truck as far as a buyer is concerned it add's no value. I didnt say i thought it was shit, just saying that lifts don't really add any value.

People know a lot about lifts everywhere lol. I would imagine more so in Utah than in Missouri. But you met some guy who offered a bunch blah blah blah. Honestly it depends on how much you get your new truck for, I'd go kings and expo leaves with tc ucas if I had the cash. That's my dream 3". Anything more would be a drop bracket...lost clearance.

I remember when I was talking to my local 4x4 shop about going more than 3" on the first gens. He said it can be done but they all seemed incredibly dangerous and he said he would install it but not warranty it. Just stock with 3" it's really going to serve your purpose better than a 4" or 6"

#1 Drop brackets lower ground clearance and cut away the stock cross member. They're more for looks than for offroading.

#2 OME lifts are not adjustable so you cannot do that.

If you go 1" or less with body lifts they aren't that bad. That's also if you do it right and get a decent body lift kit not some homemade kit with drilled hockey pucks. I personally wouldn't do it on my truck. If you really want more than 3" of lift that is still good for wheeling without sasing your truck then a 3" suspension and a 1" body lift would be the best.

I wouldnt bother personally if your looking at a 4inch. Not worth the money for an inch more. Trust me once you ride on a nice lift you will relize you would rather have a quality ride, not 12" of lift lol.
