What's the best adhesive to use for this? I have the 3M basic adhesive and it doesn't stick the vinyl to the door for shit.

I used 3M 90 and you better get it right the first time. Spray the back of the material and spray the plastic armrest piece and give it a few seconds then start on one side, and make sure it is where you want it because it will be about as hard as pulling off the old cloth if you don't get it right. And it'll pull the glue off the plastic with it and you'll end up with lumps if not careful. Again, start on one edge and smooth it into contours as you go. Make sure you do the armrest part first and worry about edge tucking last. Now We'll see how long it stays stuck like that.

Having an extra pr of hands that can actually help smooth or help hold piece from touching anywhere you don't want it to could be a big help.............

Can you make a set for the top part of the door? Mine has scratches on it from a dog and this work add a nice "feel" When you put your arm out the window.

@beertimecontinuum and @fingers1126 orders are headed to the post office now. I'll PM tracking shortly.

@Ruggybuggy I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to help you out. I'd hate to supply the material and it not turn out the way you hope. Especially getting around the door handle and such. I'd recommend hitting up a salvage yard and just replacing them altogether.

I've got one set of access cab panels ready to ship if anybody is interested. Let's get this thread fired back up for the holiday season.

TW price as always is $20 shipped for access cab or double cab

I've been selling these on eBay for a few months at $25 shipped so I'm giving this site a deal

@Swank the access cab fronts and the double cabs are the same. The single cabs are completely different...I found that out by mistake.

Gents, I gotta tell ya. You will not regret this mod. Dig it every time I climb in...
    Thanks, Brother Dane.

Oh yeah, btw, be judicious with the drill-out. I added an unfortunate 'custom' air-hole on the passenger side... I am a dumbass. :frusty:

Haha that's the only thing I'm worried about doing when I get mine. Can't wait to get them. Since I work out of my truck the gray clothe is so nasty and is practically impossible to keep clean.

The ETA of my next set of orders to be shipped out is around the end of next week. If someone with an access cab wants to hit up @Swank for his set that's cool.

And I agree with @CodeTaco this mod is one of my favorites. The vinyl is so easy to keep clean!
