    what will a performance moniter (bully dog watch dog or scangauge II) display on a 01 tacoma. I know that they wont display everything.

    I'm not sure what the Bullydog will show. You can check out the scangauge website and they will list what is available.

    yeah i looked at that. but i have heard that the monitor wont show everything that it is capable of because it cant get it all from the vehicles computer. i was just wondering if someone had one on a 01 to 04 tacoma and could tell me what it actually will display... but thanks though.

    Cool. I am just finding out about the differences between OBDII and CAN computers in our trucks. Looks like the 04 to 05 model year is the milestone. Not sure if the scangauge works differently (better/worse) in the 1G vs the 2G. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
