I'm running the mk3 stage 2 an very happy with it. Urd is a great product an with the ucon it will let you know when you hit red line as the check engine light will flash telling you to shift gears. An if you running a automatic think about getting a valve body upgrade. But as far as getting good gas mileage I'm pushing 400 miles to a tank cruising like a grandpa. But by you just adding the uncon with no supercharger I'm pretty sure your gas mileage will jump as well with a little hp. Good luck with your choice.

 

5500 is OEM redline. 6200 is the raised redline for most N/A tunes. 5800 for F/I tunes. With the URD UCON. A lot of experience behind those #'s. Both on stock internals. You can always have it changed though. URD dyno'd their stroker engine at around 7k rpms. To see what the graph would look like. Then dialed it back for every day usage.

Warriordinghy, a big roll of seran wrap from the grocery store. Not a "bunch" of ATF. Just a little. Then rotate the crank with a wench to get it to cycle the rotating components. I use Lucas Oil Heavy Oil stabilizer (the sticky stuff) and Redline Oil assembly lube.
