    And heavily reinforced skids! No new dents in them from this trip. And trans skid was holding the weight of the truck at what is now known as Finger Rock on trail 2.

    I would build a dedicated trail rig on a completely different platform before going SAS with my truck.

    My thoughts exactly. It would be cheaper, easier, faster, and better to start with a pile of steel and some drive line parts.
