    That will work but it's overkill. 1/8 is plenty for the cab mount and easier to shape if needed

    I have weld on, @Arcticelf has bolt on, I don't think strength is an issue either way, but a more experienced member may have some valuable insight. There may be other variables beyond strength that you should research before you decide.

    IMO, mounting style is personal preference. As far as strength goes, upgrade to DOM and you'll be set.
