I'm heading out Friday morning, with the goal of wheeling and getting a better camp site.

Ragnar needs his sleep, and I'm done setting up camp in the dark.

I'm too old for that shit

In order to get HH6 to sign off on an RTT Ragnar and I need to spend a substantial amount of time camping, in areas where a ground tent is counter indicated.

I think that means next summer he and I will be wheeling two weekends a month somewhere between Maine and South Carolina :)

Absolutely. But also places where she doesn't know I can camp on the ground :)

I just wish he could ride in the front, like we did as kids. Maybe I'll take the back seat out, for storage and a dog platform, after the DD mod, and disable the airbag so it's safe.

My dogs will arm it, 26# or so. But only if they stand in exactly the right spot.

I'll put my misspent youth as an electrical engineer to use and add a switch :). It will be lighted and molly-guarded.

If your boss is going to be at work on Monday, I'll take her out to coffee and plead your case to her. No promises, I may end up in trouble too.

I figured since you gave the wrong dates at first, I should post the link so there's no confusion.
