I made the ladder bar to control wheel hop/axle wrap to keep my axle shafts in one piece because of the SC and 35s. While I was designing it, I realized it could be positioned to help with DS protection. Then I figured it would be nice to have a safety hoop for the DS in case of rear u joint failure. And voila

Same. I'll buy materials and you do the work for two and I'll help?

Although it might be different measurements since I'm an access cab and you're DCLB

Figured you would like that! You have the tools, knowledge, and area to work in. I want something like this and will buy materials. Seems like a win win to me! Maybe in a few months though, heh. Freaking cold out

I only changed it about 3 times now...lol. I have heims on the rear connection points now too, as the poly bushings were allowing too much slop for my taste

About $250 for the initial version, then about $80 more for the two extra heims. Obviously going with the heims right off the bat would save some money. Believe it or not, the bushings are not much cheaper than heims. Got all that shit from Ruff Stuff. Even bought the shackles from them to save time.

@bski22 @ADV4R @Redmann You guys want to meet in the parking lot at 8am sharp on the 13th? That way we can pay and hit the trail asap for maximum wheeling time.

Hey, I'm going to run with a different group. Sorry guys. I want to test out my new winch and recovery gear, also test my limits safely with the truck on some blacks.

Wasn't there another person who wanted to go? I forget who it was. Maybe @fatfurious2 ?

Maximum wheeling time sounds perfect. Hopefully there's some warmer days next week to give it time for this snow to melt away a little bit.
