My e load range Yokohama g015's have held up to the abuse I've thrown at them at Rauch, AOAA and NEPA roads. I wish they had just a LITTLE more bite offroad.

    Quick question guys.
I have A-Trac and rear locker.
Since I'm putting in 4.88 rem. Should I throw in a front ARB locker? Or is A-TRAC and rear locker good enough?

I love my A-Trac. When I regear, I'm planning on keeping mine.
    Just my 2 cents.

What do you mean keeping yours? Why would anyone consider eliminating a trac?

Take this advice with a grain of salt because I have no lockers, but I personally am not going to lock my front when the time comes. I personally don’t do anything that serious to warrant it

IMHO, A-Trac is better because it lets you steer and it only works below 5 mph.
Front locker seems more durable, but you're almost always forcing one wheel to spin.

Meaning I'm not putting in an air locker to replace my A-Trac.

Where can I read about this A Trac? Is there a thread for all the different buttons in my 2009 off-road? I want to better understand what they are, what they do, and when to use them.

Ya can't snap CVs with Atrac. So put a locker in it.

Well that settles that. No front locker. I used ATRAC the other day at AOAA and man u could tell a difference. Thanks guys. Saved me 1,000.00.
So I'm gonna still get the dual ARB compressor. Now I may invest in a ham radio for the truck.

I've tried about every combo I could at Rausch over the years.
    Start with 4-lo.
If you get stuck, or believe that it will need more that 4-lo, hit the diff lock.
If you get stuck with the diff-lock on, hit the A-Trac.
If you get stuck with the Diff-Lock and A-Trac on, back up and pick a different line.
If you have tried three different lines, and danced with the skinny pedal, and you're still stuck, break out the winch.
I have needed the winch once for myself.
Now that I have jinxed myself, I will need to test my winch to appease the gods, or I will need it very soon and it will not work.

That’s not how it works, you don’t have an “a trac” diff, you have brake accuated traction control. If you install a locker, you still have a trac.
