2.5 lift, the usual that goes with it. Work in progress.
Was a great time yesterday. Thank you to the venders and NTC for putting together a great day of wheeling.

It's been too long lol. I need new coilovers or at least a rebuild before I wheel again

In the past, I was wondering about where to camp near rausch that wasn’t at rausch. Found this place only 8 min away and was well worth it. She had us tucked away in the back, near a creek, and had nice facilities. A hot shower after a day of wheeling was so nice. Only $20 a head.

Good find. I feel like I’m back in college whenever I camp at Rausch. I’m getting too old for that shit. AOAA definitely has superior camping options but I never got into the good trails there. I know they’re there but I guess you need to go with someone who really knows their way around.

I felt the same way the one time I camped at rausch. There are some campsites about 20 min away in the state forest but we had a bad experience there, which is how we found this other place.

    https://maps.dcnr.pa.gov/bof/camping/

Got a permit for a group site, only to show up at 9pm and it be inaccessible. Had to ride around the forest roads for 20 min until we stumbled across another suitable site. This happened on a Friday night and had to find a place to stay Saturday night, which is how we found echo campground.

Not a clue but that would be an even better way to end a day of wheeling.

They blocked the entrance to a bunch of those sites so people can "have a more rustic experience" by having to hike 15 yards...

This is the one we got a permit for. I was scoping it out on google earth and thought "Sweet! Tucked off of the main road with a decent clearing, will be perfect for a few trucks."

Nope. There were rocks blocking the path and signs stating authorized vehicles only, even though the campsite is a group site and designated as motorized camping. Man, we were so pissed when we rolled up on that at 9:30 pm after 9 hours of driving.

That is so stupid. Luckily we came across the G1 site and it was unoccupied, so we set up there for the night. I'd still hardly call it a group site.

Yeah, it's fucking stupid. Every time I'm up in that area I try to drive by campsites and scope them out.

Yeah for sure, I had hopes of camping at G4 before as well after a longggg fucking day on the trail where I almost rolled the truck into a creek and got trapped by a massive tree here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-01-build-thread.290011/page-71#post-19304633

And ultimately camped at G3. When we saw G4 there was no tree cover, all the fresh snow had a thin layer of ice, and the wind was nasty. Even if we could try to make our own trail to the back side of it, it wouldn't have been worth it.
