I'm shopping around for 2019 and 2020 tacomas right now and I really love the way the TRD OFFROAD in cement (with black fender flares) looks but prefer it in black for a sport.

Does anyone have colors they prefer differently based on the trim?

Of course not, I already stated what I personally prefer. Is it illegal around here to be curious?

I think lighter colors look much better with black trim, e.g., white or cement with OR black plastic fenders.

Brighter colors like reds and blues and dark colors do fine without the black accents.

To each his own, but I am not a fan of white or black with the varied weather we have in the Midwest, and I’ve owned both. Cement and silver are great colors for not showing dirt and water spots and road salt in between washings.

No mention of quicksand yet. Plain, nuetral color that blends right in with my peasant nature. Draws no compliments or attention..should have been called incognito color.

Not sure what the trim level has to do with it?? They're all Tacomas.
    Get what you like.

I personally like the cement. It’s clean looking and looks nice with everything else blacked out.

I really love the Barcelona Red, when the truck is washed/shined up and in direct sunlight. The metalic flake color is, to me, bad ass.

However, blue has always been my very favorite color. And the moment I saw my first VooDoo Blue truck in person......... :spending::spending::spending: If I were in the market right now (and could afford it), I would get a VooDoo Blue hands down. That color does "things" to me :D

I agree. One of the reasons I went with the sport is that I think the black paint finish looks weird next to the unpainted black plastic of the fender flares.

Agreed. Its not terrible, but because both are black, it simply ends up being a textural difference not a color difference. Even MGM looks 'ok' in OR trim, but better in Sport. White and Cement definitely need the contrasting flares and lower front bumper.

I prefer my Camo, with Cement being a close 2nd. Black is a bitch to keep clean, while these 2 colours hide it well.

As for Off-Road model vs Sport, the O.R. rides better, has more options for virtually the same price and is even quoted the same gas mileage. No brainer for me.

P.S. I bought my '17 when the 18's came out and saved $4k

IMO Cement looks fantastic but not when it’s dirty. When I had my Sport it looked phenomenal because I was washing it weekly. If I didn’t, it just started looking like primer.

Swapped it for the Off-Road instead and I like white because I’ve washed it only 3 times in 15 months and it always looks good with the black trim.

Quicksand and Calvary Blue are also winners on the OR/Pro... the contrast with the black is sexy.

Definitely subjective. I hated the soft and squishy stock suspension on the OR. Almost gave up on the Tacoma altogether until I drove the Sport.

Quicksand hides the dirt really well, but absolutely needs the black trim to break it up.
I’d’ve preferred red but wanted a stick shift more, so here i am

I do really like my inferno off road but after much deliberation I think white looks best... Something about the way the black fenders and red TRD logo pop on it. If you are going to be like everyone else on this site and buy a TRD pro grill, get black. In my opinion the grill looks way too big on all the other colors but it blends in with black and looks sharp.

If cement would have been available in '17 I prob would have gone with it.
