OZ-T, don't worry, your humor is not lost on me. Who can forget that crazy, post-appocolyptic action film known as Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior? That type of story has been done to death in the following years, so it seems campy and stereotypical of that genre nowadays. Yet, Mad Max series did it first, and you have to appreciate the fact that it WAS original, in its day. How about some humorous clips of the Toecutter from Mad Max 1, got any of those?

Police Officer trying to enforce law and order in a destroyed world looses his partner/best friend and then his family to a gang of crazy and deranged lunatics on motorcycles in the first movie. Steals a supercharged muscle car from the Police Headquarters and hunts down the killers and kills them himself, thus becoming "Mad" Max. Despite all that tragedy, for me, as a young kid watching the films for the first time, I was impacted the most when the Humongus and his cronies destroy his Muscle Car in the second film. I watched the movie a couple of years ago, and I still cringed when they blow up his car! You don't mess with a guy's wheels, not unless you want all hell broken loose on you.

Oh yeah, and to comment on the topic at hand. OP, good things come to those who wait. I have a 2013 Tacoma, and I'll be rocking the stock grill until HomerTaco's customer base thins out on the old style grills, and he has time to perfect something for us newer style guys. If it takes a couple few years so be it, plenty of other mods to do in the meantime. Just be patient, when the man is ready and able, he'll have something for us eventually.

You don't need to be a surgeon to cut the middle out, anything that isn't gross can be cleaned up after the center is gone. If you can do the most of the work yourself, like I did, leave the fine tuning to a body shop. I got everything prepped and all they needed to do was smooth out the inner shell and paint it for me.

For the 01-11's you can make the grill fit the mesh.
For 12 & up you are better off with the opposite. :drevil:
