Pg&e shutting down bay area power

Try and follow along here. If there is a wildfire while the power is out, people will be screwed. 80 some people just died when there was power and notification.
PG&E acknowledges that the power grid is inadequate. You will be the one paying and I guess it hurts a little less if your head is in the sand.

I live in the woods, all my neighbors fail to rake their yards or trim limbs. We create some issues ourselves.
Seems the politicians were wanting to stop us from moving to the mountains.

I think those generators are also banned in CA....

 

Easy, move out of there. The state of California knows too much that isn’t true.

 

We've had about 6.8 drops in central Virginia in the last month and a half. But no wind.

 

I agree with Duane, I work for DOT in a California county. Power is out in 70% of county but it’s a good wake up call for people to clean up those properties and be more prepared

 

PG&E should just pack up and go. And take their crappy power lines with them.
