He deserved everything that came his way. Run on to a field during a game and elude the people trying to stop you then you get everything that comes your way.

Don't care what his age was.

He didn't seem threatening to me, but I can see where you are coming from. Safety first.

Unfortunately for this kid, he meant no harm, he just wanted some attention. However, you never know what he could have done. Tasers hurt like a mother, but really cause no permanent damage. Imagine if every fan ran out on the field because they felt like it. That being said, yes he deserved to get tasered.

i'm sure he deserved it, who cares if he's 17. Our country is turning into a bunch of sissy liberals. On a similar note we should start hanging terrorists, wtf is the deal with giving them a fair trial, they are trying to kill american lives! Sorry for the mini-rant, i'm pissed about this nyc thing at the moment

Im very far from a liberal and don't think the taser was the best option. The kid had no intention to hurt anyone. I dont think the kid should get tased because the officer needed to lose a good 30lbs. He could have been tackled in 2-3 more seconds by one of the other guys chasing him.
    Fat Ass lazy Cop.

Maybe if the cop was in shape 'other than being round" he could have caught the kid.

Okay so now why are we blaming this on the cop?!?!?!
X2! They dont know what his real intentions were. They were all just doing what they get paid to do. Bottom line, that kid was at fault.
