Phoenix AZ Mod Day 28 April 2018

Date: 28 April 2018

Time: 0800 till beer is all gone

Where: Vicinity of 31st Ave and Northern.

I have basic tools, soldering iron (1)floor jack and set of 3T stands. I have garage space for 1 truck at a time. I have 2 canopies if needed to shade other trucks during maintenance. Covered Parking in backyard for 4 Trucks. Plenty of parking area near house.

Wife will cook some Filipino dishes Pancit and Lumpia for the event. Plan to have Burgers and dogs with all the trimmings, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, mustard mayo, ketchup, etc.....
I'll have beer as well..... Please BYOB to share and be RESPONSIBLE as I know you will be..... Please bring anything you desire to cook. I have plenty of pecan wood for the grill.

Even if you don't have mods/maintenance, come on by and meet TW guys and gals... Family is welcome. There is Mariposa Park which is a couple mins walk from my house. I have a pool and Jacuzzi for the ones who want to relax and enjoy themselves...... while the guys are busting balls doing manly things to the taco's........I have 2 sunbathing chairs. Bring your pool chairs and gear if you wish.

Anyone who has tools, special tools, jack stands, etc. please bring with you.

I repaired mine a few years ago. Still working like new. Its not that hard....

First off we'd have to figure out who wants to host...
I can't host because I have a small garage that barely fits my Tacoma and there's limited parking in my complex.
So @Mike330R is out in the west valley, and he's got a very well equipped garage.
@Man of Steel TRD just finished cleaning out his garage and it looks fantastic, and he lives in Gilbert but north of 202 so we'll call it "east/central"
@SamGoingHam I don't know where you live, and I don't know if you have garage space?
@Techoma , would you potentially be interested in hosting again?

I can't force-volunteer anyone from the list because, well, it's not my damn house so I don't get to say.

Since I'm gonna be the "main attraction" doing a leaf swap and shackle install I will provide the beer and food, but what beer, and what food? Sadly I can't produce another case of Yuengling, but I'm more than happy to acquire whatever pleases the crowd.
Also food, are we talking just put 5 pizzas on a table somewhere or is there a preferred grab & go kinda eats I can provide?

I'm going to bed early AF tonight but let's keep this rolling. I wanna hear some beer and food selections in the morning!

 

I'm down. Not sure what kind of tools you need. I don't have a welder or anything like that. I do have room though for a few trucks. Just can't get too roudy. It's a quiet neighborhood, now sure how the neighbors will react.

 

I'm located at 31st ave and northern. If you want I have the accommodations to host. Plenty of room. I have basic tools. No thru traffic I live on a cul de sac. No Hoa. I have bbq grill and smoker. Pool to relax in as well.
Covered rv parking in back yard.

 

Setting the date 5th of May 8:00am. Oh snap saw a date of 28th apr. My stuff should be here by then. Ok 28 of Apr is ok with me. If everyone wants just pizza. There is papa John's half block from my place. Or can cook burgers and dogs soda and beer.

 

If you'd be down to cook the bugers and dogs I will pay for the raw materials. Also I don't have any objections to Papa Johns. We could do both.

What beer (or other refreshments) should I provide?

 

Ok. I'll host. @Nitori you organize it. I have a floor jack and 2 canopies. 10by10 and 12by12. Folks need to bring tools and whatever. If folks want to bring their family members they are more than welcome. Children can go swimming but need a full time lifeguard. Lets roll quickly with this.....

 

Don't have any mods to do at the moment but I can help drink beer and do some QC!
And learn some stuff while drinking beer!

Anyone good with screw extraction? My coil bolt closest to the drivers side firewall snapped while changing spark plugs a couple months ago will bring beer and backup valve cover in case we need to just pop on the replacement instead of getting the bolt out. Thought I'd ask before tearing everything apart
