    Since you are a pre runner there are a lot of washes and roads all around the outskirts of Phoenix. Some you will need a state trust permit and others you won't. Just stay away from the reservations and there are a few trail guide books that you can find as well.
    I would also suggest keeping an eye on the AZ section because a lot of guys post up pre runner friendly runs.
