Phone Buzz

I have the Motorola Q and it is a complete piece of crap! I want a new phone bad but I don't want to sign a new contract and be stuck with my carrier any longer then I have to! But anyways, I have noticed reciently that whenever the screen is on there is a buzzing sound. And when it goes off the buzzing sounds goes away! Now most people would just send the phone off and pray they say its brooke and get a new one. But not me, my stupid carrier says it will take 2 months for them to find out what is wrong and they want to give me a even more piece of crap phone! Can someone please tell me whats wrong with my phone and how to fix it!

 

you tried taking the battery out and resetting the phone yet??

Yes I have and still no luck!

And my provider is Carolina West Wireless

 

provider may be the problem....could be having tower problems or something. you got insurance on it??? if so....drop it in the water....ruin it, and then go pay whatever your insurance offset is. i did that with one of my phones a year before last...........was drunk and fell into the lake!!

 

wow I thought maybe you had one of the bid companies that use a sim card, with a sim card you can just get a new phone and sell the old one and just switch the sim card

 

I wish! Mine does not have a sims card, I'm not that lucky!

 

Oh and they don't offer insurance that will cover this phone!

 

damn............i reckon you be screwed...unless you can find a different phone on the cheap!!

 

not sure how it works, but try ebay for a new phone? did that with nextel once

 

anybody figured out how to fix this?? its getting worse!!

 

its a motorola you were doomed from the beginning.............try craigslist for a new phone

 

How long is left on your contract? I had issues a couple years back with a phone and still had about 9 months left on my contract. I told the company that they could fix my phone, give me a new one, or change my plan to the cheapest thing they had and I'd just pay off the rest of the contract and take my business elsewhere. Got a new phone and all was good. That was a national carrier but might work with the smaller guys too.
