Anyone got tips for the annoying "air cushion" on the screen with the Fre? Awesome case but my slider button and space bar suck now.

Im surprised no one has talked about the case i have: Otterbox Armor series.
Its completely waterproof like lifeproof, plus, its crush proof up to 1 Ton. Theres videos of people driving over them. The only drawback on the case is its bulky, but it ill take that con over the crush proof pro.

My issue with Otterbox is that when I pull the phone out of my pocket....everything else in my pocket, including the pocket itself, comes out!

Huh , my hands scratch the shit outta the screen protectors on the cases , plus the rain , dust , mud and snow

That's why I like the Lifeproof , it's the smallest of the actual protection cases

Do you line your hands with sand paper? Joking of course, but my iPhones have all fared well in a number of impacts on concrete, mud, water, steel beams, etc. They still keep on truckin, of course they get scratches and what not and a few times I've shattered the screen(s) but a few dollars later and it looks like new again. The only impact that really jacked up my phone was my last 5, fell out of my pocket on my CBR after an inadvertent wheelie while getting on the highway :anonymous: the phone had shit falling out of the front of it where there was no glass, but it still worked.

Well it's been 6 years or so of all the iPhones, and I think I broke the front screen twice on 2 different phones, and the rear of the 4/4S maybe 4 times. The rear takes literally 2 minutes to change and the replacement cost $4 each, the front is a different story, it takes about an hour (I've only done once) but when the 5 broke I took it to apple, they charged me $100 to replace the phone on the spot where as a replacement screen was about $180. So I am out $16 for rear screens, $20 for a front screen, and I paid $100 to get a brand new phone. I just hate cases, companies claim how thin they can make a damn phone but what's the point when the average person is just going to put a case on it to make it twice as big.

    K

That's why I like the Lifeproof Fre case , it hardly adds any size to the phone at all
