Phone issues

Hi tacomians,

I just upgraded from a 2015 to a 2020 trdOR truck (or so I thought), and for some dumb reason, when I call or receive a call, I can hear them but they don’t hear me (weird popping sounds on their end). I have to switch the call back to my iPhone 13 pro max (all current updates). I’ve tried almost everything I’ve researched online. It worked fine on my 15 truck, and it works fine in my 2018 Toyota Sienna van.

Sounds like your mic in the truck has issues. Does it work with anyone elses phone? If not, might try disconnecting the battery and have the HU reset. Check the mic location make sure not damaged.

 

My friend's 2017 is having all sorts of issues, he got a iPhone 10, and since then his phone drops calls and is locked out.....he has to either shut off the truck or the phone to get the phone to work again....he took it to the dealer twice with no result
