I’m guessing this only works if you don’t have 4x4 actuator there ?

It works, but your 4x4 select with be hidden behind it when you’re phone is attached to the magnet (at least for my setup) ... not ideal I know, but I’m not a fan of the phone above dash level.

    :notsure:

I’ll see if I can’t mock up a picture to better show it. I’m still trying to find a home for my phone mount

Installed mine today. Works great, doesn't obstruct my view at all with or without phone attached.

I recommend anyone wanting a phone mount to quit being indecisive and get this mount.

We suggest putting it on the outside of your case. Not saying it wont work under you case just depends which case you have. We have found sticking the magnetic piece right to the case works great. The magnet will not mess with the phone capabilities. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

I have been really happy with my Expedition Essentials 3TPAM and a pair of Tackform mounts. Very little movement of my iPhone 11 while off road, the charging close by is really nice when running map applications. I purchased a couple 1 foot lightning cables with 90 degree ends to keep the cabling neat.

    Thank you very much.
If you have a chance watch the MXT 275 install. I think you'll get a kick out of it. I did some work to install a flush mount mic and RJ45 Cat 6 coupler to the 3TPAM. It came out super clean.

I have a Expedition Essentials TPAM with Hondo Perfect Squeeze mount and it is truly solid. Best combo out there. I have used the RAM mounts X Grip and it is not as solid. Good, but not great. The Hondo is just pure gold. And costs as much too, heh.
