ok, I have no sunroof and hanging it out? My luck i would lose it. I checked and I'm already set up for the LTE for the data and calling as well as roaming is off and was never on.

Your phone signal strength is between your phone and the tower it is connected to. It doesn't go thru your truck. Things that can affect it are the metal of the truck, windows, depending what's all in or on them, all of the electronic going on in the truck, the Bluetooth signal strength, it's a RF (radio frequency) like your cell phone, and all other electronic emissions. Maybe you should get a 1980 Toyota truck. Won't be much going on with that to affect signal strength except the spark plugs.

its definitely the trucks fault, time to part out, or lemon law it, or force a dealer buy back

Mine is like that also ive noticed. Mostly whwn i kept the phone low in the truck (no fancy tint either) i just placed it in a holder on my DMM and now its fine. I mostly noticed it when the gps was acting up on it while driving one day.

LOL on party ways with my truck. Yeah!! NO!!! I love my truck and I have an Iphone and I'm surprised they can't do a better antenna. It worked great with my 6plus bit not the XS. Just weird.
