I know there are tons of mounts above the radio. I have always liked my phone over on the left side but the driver A pillar. I cannot find any options at all. Show me what you have on the left side of the steering wheel

I thought that @FreshMexicanTaco / TheTacoGarage.com was developing one for the left side, but I cannot find it.

One option would be to install the HondoGarage mount on the left vent?
    https://hondogarage.com/collections...g-systems/products/un-holey-tacoma-dash-mount

You'd need a RAM ball, an arm, and a phone mount to complete the installation.

When I had the Unholey mount before the DMM came out, I used RAM stuff from Amazon with a RAM X-grip for the phone. That route is more affordable, and I have never had problems with the X-grips on my bikes or the Taco.

I wonder if you could make the small version of the DMM fit over there. Just inverted

I hear you there. Having different options is a big deal.

Maybe @FreshMexicanTaco will jump in here about the left side version? I kind of remember something about it but could be wrong.

The DSM profile might match, but no way to know for sure. Of course, it is countersunk for the right side.

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
I have purchased go pro self sticking base mount set om Amazon. Stick one on top of left side panel, then use RAM mount for go pro and cell mount on it.
Tested on and off road. Cost approx $50 CAD.
Simple and cheap way I went:
GO PRO mount on top of interior trim, from amazon, on 2-way tape
RAM cell phone mount with GO PRO adaptor.
Holds perfect, see pictures. Tested on and off road. Approx $50 CAD total.:bananadance::canada:DSC_0466.jpg DSC_0467.jpg DSC_0469.jpg

That idea is what I have been looking for. I want something low profile but I worry about summer heat effecting the bond of that mount.

Glad you find what you looking for. And I can confirm: we have +32 c this summer in Calgary. When truck parked outside on the sun, in the cab is over +50c.
No any signs of weakness, that's why I so happy.
