I'm liking this look and would like to see other early 2nd gen. stock painted bumpers with the middle center below the horizontal grill blacked out. This looks good with a black rock guard too.

Thanks to the owner of this killer looking truck for my borrowing this photo as an example.

Example of a silver streak with a chrome grill would be great!

Can’t help with the silver, but here’s some really old photos of white with the chrome grill!

I thought that thumbnail looked familiar lol. That is actually plasti dip and it worked well for a while but did start chipping after a year or so, so I peeled it off. Ill probably do it again sometime. But If you want to see how it looks without it being permanent then just use plasti dip! If you like it and want it painted for real then peel it off and have it painted. If you dont like it then no damage done. Also Click on the thread in my signature for a few more photos of it.

salt and rain water, there is a shallow marsh in the back that floods over when it rains for long periods and the breakers rip when there is a storm over there too. Not a ton of sand on the beach.

    Just a word of caution.

The end of my street floods with heavy rain and at high tide. Looks just like that. With my first gen tacoma, launching my kayak to go fluke fishing I was always doing what you do. I ended up with a rusty frame. My 2015 tacoma never touches the water like that now. Plus I undercoat the frame with FF.

That’s a nice looking truck, you need to keep it that way.

I like to think the rust on the frame protects the frame.
