My point is, this does no damage to the hobby, sport, risk of trails being shut down, or bad look upon offroading. The trail markings do damage to all of that! thats why im trying to point to u, that no one in the group would want to or have the intentions to spread the name through something like that, that is going to get a negative rep. There is nothing positive that can possibly come out of tagging a trail. only damage is done. As i said earlier, i will remove it as soon as possible and that is all that i can do.

    Kaleb,

You don't realize it but all you're doing is putting yourself in a worse situation by responding to every accusation made and continually bumping this thread. I bet you didn't do this, you seem like a decent kid, but I have no doubt one of your buddies did it. We all do stupid shit, but it's how you learn from that shit....

Take a little advice and quit posting to this thread/quit reading what people are saying. Show your integrity by going up there at your soonest chance possible and cleaning up the mess someone else made. Maybe bring a couple of bags and pick up some trash while you're at it. When you're done don't come on here gloating or telling everyone you did something right, just enjoy the fact you made a good deed out of a bad... Others will notice the paint is gone...

    Best of luck.

Wow.. I'm actually ashamed by the mods publicly attacking somebody like this... It seems like this should have been handled over pm's instead...

They aren't publicly attacking. They're making a point that tagging shit doesn't stand well around here.

The issue I have, is you claim your "group" isnt about tagging things, yet its all over your FB page........

I completely understand that, I just feel that he has realized that by now since the same basic thing has been said repeatedly as well as him responding explaining himself the same way repeatedly. It just seems like this thread is getting nowhere and isn't going to end well by any means.

I'm sure he's aware its not cool to tag rocks. I'm sure he's aware that his group now looks bad to those around him.

But, it appears that he is being personally held to blame as purely responsible for this when he is not (unless he's been lying this whole time). The group is responsible to keep its members in line, and it is the responsibility of the group leaders/organizers to deal with the offending member

It is not the responsibility of every Tom Dick and Harry on TW to personally blame one individual for something no one really knows who did it.

he doesnt explain himself the same way. First he says he's against this type of destruction to any property. Then, when pictures are posted, he changes his tune a little it seems.

Circumstantial evidence based on the screen name, the facebook posts and admittance to starting the group would lead one to suspect that he did it....

But what about gangs? And tagging monikers on other gang properties? Do we hold the gang responsible or the individual that actually committed the tagging? The tagging looks bad on the gang, but the tagger is responsible.

And the opposing gang retaliates on the tagging gang....or should they retaliate on the Tagger?

Like you never put a lead pencil to a desk.

They're in high school. Kids will be kids.

Give him a chance to prove himself, I'm sure the rocks will be cleaned this weekend. Chalk it up as lesson learned after that.

    Agreed.

It's only been a day since this was posted, so he hasn't exactly had the chance to go and remove it in my opinion. Some people are actually busy. I understand this was probably brought up to him a day or so after people saw it, but even then that isn't much time.

I havent read this whole post but I know that writing was on that rock the weekend before. Effin pissed me off. WTF is wrong with people. I also noticed where someone chopped down a crested saguaro on the road up. Makes me so sick. Some people need to be put down.
