    Looks good! I'm self taught, too so no worries there, we all have to start somewhere. The only off putting thing to me is that you didn't reflect the background and it looks like a completely different image. Since I assume you're going for the reflected look, it's a little jarring.

    Thanks! I did reflect the background, but I screwed up the gradient. I have a better picture I will swap in tomorrow. I need to go to bed. Thanks for the tips & I will keep working on it. Oh and I just discovered 3D & it is freaking awesome! I messed with it in illustrator before, but never photoshop.

    Edit: How do you save the files? PNG-8 PNG-24 or JPeg and match the forums background color?

    I save in PNG. It makes the hassle of matching forum colors irrelevant, plus the end user can then use the sig on other forums too if they desire.
