Could any of you PShop pro's do a pic of a Super White DCab Off Road (stock) with a white grille surround instead of chrome and black grillcraft upper/lower replacement?

Im sure there are pics of someone who actually has the config around here...but so far I have been unable to find it.

Can someone shop my truck with a 3" and/or 6" lift with the tires blacked out?

It's pretty easy actually. I just trace out the body with the Polygon Lasso Tool. Then I cut it to another layer. Then move it up to simulate lift in the other layer and use the clone tool to fill in the spaces on the original layer. I also use the paintbrush to fill in dark areas like the wheel wells since you can't see much detail anyway. Since the body is in another layer, you don't have to worry about cloning or painting over the detail.

Sweet! Thanks appreciate the effort. Looks like I may want to get a wider wheel maybe if I lift it...

I use pen tool instead of lasso. It takes a little longer but I find it to be the most accurate.

I find that if you have a hi res picture, the polygonal lasso tool works the best for me. But i think its just preference. Some guys i have ran into like to copy portions and just keep erasing until they are happy.

That's why I prefer Pen tool, to A.D.'s point. On a high res picture, you can get away with lasso since colors and objects are more distinct. On a low res pic, like 95% of this forum, the program has a hard time separating the colors/objects. You have to rely on what PS thinks is different.

With pen tool, you are in control of separating colors. It will give you a cleaner cut and more freedom.
