First off, I was provided this light bar at no cost in exchange for my review.

    WARNING PICTURE HEAVY!!! :benchpress:

So I am reviewing the PIAA RF18 6000k 18" 64w LED Light bar 07218 for @automatcentral. They had awesome customer service and were very responsive and gave all the information needed. They shipped my item very nicely and it arrived undamaged in the original unopened box. I also received it two days after I placed my order.

    Here's everything you get...

Right out of the box I can see this light bar is no joke. The weight, material quality, and overall assembly of this product was like no light bar I've seen before. The wiring harness was decent. and the tools and hardware that came with it were perfect for the job.

I personally run some cheaper Opt7 Lights on my truck because that's in my budget and works for me. I installed this light bar on my 2006 Honda foreman 500 s. I did not install it on my truck because well as you can see in my build thread I have a 32 inch bar already, and 4 pods. But it was the perfect fit for my four wheeler. So here it is..

    IMG_6004.jpg IMG_6005.jpg IMG_6006.jpg IMG_6007.jpg IMG_6008.jpg IMG_6009.jpg IMG_6010.jpg IMG_6012.jpg IMG_6014.jpg IMG_6015.jpg IMG_6016.jpg IMG_6017.jpg IMG_6020.jpg IMG_6021.jpg IMG_6022.jpg

This light bar is far more bright than any other light bar I have. I'm honestly blow away with light bar. The light beam is a completely perfect rectangle. There is absolutely no flood to this light at all. Spot on perfection.

With this being an honest, unbiased review. There are 2 things I would change about this light bar.

    1. Where the wiring goes into the light bar is just 2 wires. I would have liked to see the wires fully insulated into the housing of the light bar. You can see in my pictures what I am talking about and how I went about correcting that small issue for myself. I used some electrical tape and some 1/4" loom for extra protection.

    2. I would have like to see the wiring that goes to the switch more protected as well. Those few wires should also have more protection. These lights are for off-road purposes so I believe there needs to be as much protection on all the wiring as possible. Plus it would make your installation cleaner and easier. Once again, I corrected this by using some 1/4" loom around the wires with some 3" zip ties holding the loom on.

I went ahead and parked my ATV next to my truck to compare the new light bar to the OPT7 ones on my truck. You can see in the following images that I have a 32" bar 2 fog lights which are spot pattern and 2 ditch lights which are flood pattern. You can compare for yourself but these pictures do not do the justice for how bright this PIAA light bar really is. (sorry for the shitty camera angles)

I hope this review is helpful for the people looking into PIAA light bars. I would recommend them! VERY VERY HIGH QUALITY. Thank you @automatcentral for the opportunity to review this product.

Hey there, interested in the longer term ownership of this Piaa RF led light bar. Is it the hybrid/combo or spot version? Are there any night time output pictures? What's your full testament? Thank you!

hi, This is the spot light version. I still have the light on my ATV. its extremely bright and the cut off lines are super crisp. I currently do not have any night time pictures but next time I have the quad out at night I will take some. I will say this light has never gotten condensation in it, never failed me at all. Works like new and I dont suspect any issues in the near future.
