I was able to pick one of these up for a detailed install and review.

They are the PIA LP530 LED fog lights purchased here:

    http://www.automatcentral.com/PIAA-LED-Tacoma-Kit.html

Details on product, along with an installation guide:

    http://www.piaa.com/store/p/566-PIAA-Toyota-Tacoma-2012-VSK-LP530-3-5-LED-Driving-Light-Kit.aspx

The Tacoma in the picture looks like my truck - Same color :) - These light will fit well ;)

    Details

First thing that was in the box was a detailed set of instructions

Packet of hardware and what seems like the adapter bracket to the fog pocket

    Lights are well packaged

The rock guard is removable, I don't think it would be compatible with the fog pocket on the Tacoma

    Full wiring harness

Wiring at the back of the lights

Basic wiring diagram is very detailed

I didn't use the wiring because I wanted the function of the OEM fog light switch, but the wiring harness is long enough if you want to use it. Installation of the switch required a hole to be drilled in the cabin of the truck. I figured it could be best located on switch blank or the change holder door on the left of the steering wheel.

Since I am going to use the OEM wiring, switch, etc. I needed an adapter that would plug into the stock wiring - these were NOT included in the package, I picked these up off Amazon.

First thing I did was do a test fitment of the adapter pigtail

The white/black is GROUND and the green is POSITIVE on the OEM side of the wiring.

Back inside, I removed the cradle brackets from the lights. These are not needed, unless they are being installed on a bumper:

The adapter plate for the fog light was then installed, using the same holes and hardware from the cradle brackets

The adapter plate can swivel, allowing the fog lights to be adjusted up and down.

I cut off the pigtails off the foglights and soldered on the adapter pigtail

    Don't forget the shrink tubing

Once at the truck, I removed the two bolts/screws that held the dust shield in place at the bottom lip of the front bumper, they are the only two screws that can be seen here:

This allowed access to the fog light. To remove it, there are two phillips screws on the outer edge of the light

    Removed

Installed the fog lights per the PIAA instructions:

    Old fog lights:

    Glamour shots:

    The instructions included aiming tips:

The foglights were very easy to adjust:

The installation was straightforward and simple. The light output is clean, white, and a strong beam.

The lights felt very well build and rigid, I foresee no issues with them unless they get hit by a rock and get cracked due to the lack of not having the stoneguard. I really don't see a way the stoneguard can be used in the OEM fog location, but its okay. Looks good enough.

Nice! I got the same lights and did same as you with the Amazon pigtail harness. My kit included a different wiring diagram than yours, but included wiring was the same.

I've only had them on for three days but like them so far. I like the color so today I replaced my halogen headlights to be a closer match.

I did a review as well And found the rock screens would only work if the lights Are mounted on top of a bumper or in the light holes of a plate bumper

Re wiring my to a nicer rocker switch

What is so great about these is they have almost no AMP draw so you don't need a relay or heavy gauge wiring

It's close but I can see a little more blue/cool white in the headlight when it's dark. I'm still totally happy with both the fogs and headlights. So far I haven't gotten flashed and they don't seem to cast too much glare.

There are several other reviews of this kit within the product review section which show nighttime output.

If anyone is interested in purchasing this kit, please don't pay full price as I have them available at a significant discount; however, I only have a few left so please let me know if you are interested.

Those look good. I like the clearer lenses over the OEM units. I thought about buying them before I bought my Cali Raised LED pods. I went with the Cali Raised to get away from the round factory look. The 2nd Gen 12-15's to me have a more squared off front end and I think they fit in better.
