    Pretty much stock right now
Check my signature picture. That's an ARE MX on my 2001, which has now moved to a 2003 extra cab. The extra few inches saves lumps on the head, not to mention your back. My 2001 has the lower cap, which makes it hard to retrieve something that has slid to the front of the bed.

    ARE shell.
Some dings and scratches due to 13yrs of use but is still keeping the bed dry!
Cracked it & rear glass broke when a storm blew it our of its storage area, over/thru my fence and out into the pasture about 100'!
Insurance covered it, I bought a new back glass and reinstalled it onto the truck 2 yrs ago w/o any problems!
    Good luck!
Try to get a used one, they're out there but you'll have to look!

What model of leer is that? I have the same truck and I was told I could not get the frameless windows.

    You were told incorrectly.

Frameless is a must. Makes it look more modern, and not a 80s one

    Is that the 100XQ?

I agree with you on the frameless!! After he told me it wasn't available and he said the 100R was, I told him to forget it.

I have a line on a used Snug Top in South Carolina for $500 but it needs to be repainted (peeling paint) and I really don't have the time to hassle with it.

    Looks Awesome!!

My local dealer called me back after talking to Leer (Midwest) and said they are not available. They said they may be available in another region, but not in the Midwest region (said their mold cracked). Kind of sounds like bull to me, but anyway that doesn't help me.

I love the Snugtop also, but they too are not available east of Saint Louis. I guess I'm going to have to hassle with the used Super Sport I found in SC. The guy sent me pictures of it and short of the bad paint it looks to be intact.

None of these are camper shells unless you are shorter than 5' tall...

    This is a camper shell.

2003 with snugtop I found on offer up for 250$. Snugtop was gold and beat up. My buddy painted it and my truck for a trade of sports tickets I get for free. Went to a camper shop and got two new keys and a brand new brake light still in the box for 35$. The guys was surprised they still had one left. Also added new struts. Thanks.

Just picked up a used snug top. Any one ever come across a place that sells a drop down front window? Mine has the slider and I would rather have a drop down. I can make the opening a little bigger if need be, but would prefer one that fits. Besides the slider doesn’t slide well and the frame is pretty beat up.

Here's mine. Cap is by Jason, never heard of them prior to finding this cap on craigslist, but it seems to be well-made, and I like the classic lines.45440020-2.jpg
