It's a Flippac by FRP. No longer made, company folded around 2015 and this one was one of the last produced.

Call ANY Snugtop dealer and provide them the serial number. They will check with the main place to see if they have parts for your specific model/fitment.

I lost the youtube video of an 2nd gen tacoma outlander, he had something similar but I didn't know the name. I think that design would be cool but I guess it didn't do so well. Damn...

It did well, it was just a side product for FRP and they were apparently not very good at taking care of business and actually contacting customers. The story is out there - look for it if you care. The design is good and provides the most space out of all the lightweight options. The next closest would be the $10,000+ Adventure Trailers Habitat.

Then a really heavy option is the 4WheelCamper.

I purchased an 03 with a snug top last year. I've since removed it as it leaked a little in the back and was debating selling it. After reading this thread, it appears the snug top is a popular top. I don't know much about tops and would like some input about what makes this a desirable top.
The pics are from the dealer in California and my road trip back to VA.

Because it makes the Tacoma look like an SUV? It's flush and modern looking? It fits the body lines of the Tacoma?

As for your leaking problem, that's probably user error or dealer installation issues unless there is actual damage. Properly installed quality seals will keep water from coming in.

Where was it leaking? My guess is at #1 because that strip of plastic/rubber looks to be trimmed too narrow to force the rain to drip outside the tailgate as it runs down vertically.

The other thing you want to do to keep water out is to install a seal around the tailgate, which most people don't have. My truck with a commercial shell never leaked and it had seals everywhere including the tailgate.

Good to know Jason, I'll be picking up a snugtop for cheap, I know the rear window will need to be replace and its going to be expensive but with the amt of stuff I'll be moving around I need it to be secured.

Thank you for the info. Until buying this truck, I've never really paid attention to the tops available and that all makes sense.
The overlap on the tailgate covers enough but I had a feeling it was a combination of a worn out back glass gasket and bad adjustment. The friction pad on the left side of the lift glass had rubbed all the paint off of the tailgate. I have subsequently had it repainted since bringing it home but would need some new parts before installing the cap again. Cheers!

Got this off a wrecked Tacoma DC - was the same color as mine, though we repainted it when I repainted the truck. Smittybilt rack bolted to the roof of it, though it's a pretty light duty rack, limited to a couple hundred pounds of stuff because it's just bolted to the fiberglass shell. About to start mounting lights to the fore and aft tabs on the roof rack.

Man, that's a tasty-looking rig. That shell fits like a glove. I've been debating whether or not to remove the TRD badges from mine (seems a little poseur to me for a Pre-runner to say "off-road" on the side, haha), and I think you've convinced me. Clean ride.

That was actually right before I put the badging back on! We really debated on whether or not to go badgeless but ultimately I was shooting for more of a factory look.

ARE shell. I love the windows that flip up and allow full access to the bed. I added yakima racks/baskets up top. I also have drawers i built the bed. Im planning on sleeping back there on bike trips. I do have to fix a leak at the rear of the bed though.

I'm hoping I can do this with the snugtop, the side window thing where it flips up instead. If not its cool, the bed isn't long so I should be able to reach in there.

Turns out the used snugtop I bought for mine was a rusted mess on the inside. The back window is in great shape, but the latches and handle are not. I removed the back window and side vent windows. If anyone needs them let me know. I live near Atlanta. It was made for a 2003 double cab.

Well the guy who was selling the snugtop ended up selling it to someone else

guess I should do the same and not reserve shit for anybody. 'Money talks' going forward.
