I don't get it. If I wanted another 4Runner, I'd get one. The rear visibility on my canopy was not desirable, I got rid of that in 2006. I camp open air.

A few pics of mine. A.R.E. Z series, found it used on Craigslist for $600. Had to paint to match, 4Runner roof racks on the shell, and the cab.5E07313E-E3BA-475A-826B-0C7BFD9FA654.jpg0B877F68-13C0-43B1-9D45-9FA5095A22F1.jpg40801931-33C4-478C-8454-3038AAEF3D63.jpgF4ED6709-37AF-4318-8AEC-9CEA2667E38C.jpg

I've been looking for a 2004 Double Cab Tacoma for years now. I am not in a position to buy a new one, starting around $3K.

I can’t remember, I actually painted it myself. Less than $200.00 Nason single stage.

Mine is the Leer, came with the truck when I bought it. It has some flaws that are all tied to lack of fine care previous owners, but I'm grateful to not have to be hunt for one.

In terms of actual feedback of the canopy itself, the frame for the glass back is quite large -- TOO large -- impeding access with the glass up. I would so love a "high rise" canopy, but on a double cab those seem to be quite tough to find. Honestly I would consider an aluminum canopy and I would just store my Leer. Does look nice, though.

I found a leer just like yours for my own taco, I'm guessing its the 100xq model? the clamping knob for my left window seems to be stripped and not closing right, plus I need rear seal for back window. Found any parts for yours?

I know this photo was posted 5yrs or so ago, but what brand and model is the shell? I've never seen one that transitions from shell-to-bed so smoothly. Exactly what I'm looking for!
