I have been looking at craigslist, but nothing yet. Do you just find one in any color and then paint match it?

How much can one expect to pay for one of those retail?

 

It'll be worth it to find one that already matches. You save time and money that way. Plus, if you get it painted somewhere, it may be close but not exact.

I was quoted for a brand new Snugtop with just a dome light and carpeted ceiling... $1300+taxes. Generic dealers go anywhere from $700 to $1000. I'm not familiar with ARE or Leer.

IMO, craigslist is the way to go. Got my old topper for $600 and my current topper for $500... Both Snugtops.

 

yeah, that's a great deal. I would imagine that in California, you have a much larger pool to choose from when it comes to these types of things though. We'll see if one pops up though. $600 sure does sounds a whole lot better than $1300.

i really like that color red, so I'm not complaining. Looks good! I really can't stomach the idea of spending $1300+ on a new one, so I think I'll be looking for whatever shows up on craigslist, which so far is nothing...
