Hello, been lurking here for a couple days. I recently sold my third gen Due to a good market in my area. I was able to make several thousand more than I paid for it. But I have a work truck that I drive every day, and the third GEN only picked up about 8000 miles in the last three years. So I needed something to run some errands on the weekends, And what better than a first gen!

2004, five speed, V6, and over 241000 miles! Seems to be a decent truck that has pretty good service records. a lot of the things that I was hoping to see in the service records have been done to it once or twice so that put my mind a little bit of ease with the miles. a basic pre-inspection showed the drums are at 4 mm so I might put those on the radar. But so far I’ve been enjoying reading some of the old threads and seeing everyone’s first gen’s. it’s a decent 40 footer!

Looking good! With decent service history I wouldn't think twice about picking one up at that mileage
