Picked up my DCSB TRD OR

Just picked it up this afternoon. Delivered way earlier than I expected or was told! Allocation made Sept 11th.

Thanks to everyone who's been posting pics and sharing info. Because I had to leave to pick up my son from school, I didn't get to have them show me all the features. But I feel as if I know everything I need to know from checking in here everyday.

I'll follow up with feedback as soon as I can.

Thanks! It's cliche to say now but the quicksand color, front grille, and overall design is much, much more impressive in person.

 

That color is def growing on me. Its a love it or hate it color, so I am told. So far only 20% of the people I asked like that color. But I am starting to find it attractive.

I'm trying to change mine to quicksand now. Didn't like it at first and ordered a silver one but now It's really grown on me. I'll be happy with either one I just can't stand the waiting! OP,congrats on your new truck! Exactly what I want minus the premium pkg.

Fortunately for me, I go back a long, long ways with the guy who wrapped up my deal. So yes I did. Below invoice and good trade-in dollar for my car.

I've been driving it to show family members all night. My nephew, who was originally wanting a Tundra, after seeing my truck is now heavily leaned towards a Tacoma.

Yet to take it off-road. I'll do that tomorrow. I gotta' say - today was a good day!

 

I just might place an order for same but LB!

Exactly what my nephew said! Wants a LB too.

I really dig the JBL sound and am happy to have waited for this configuration. I know the specs state 440-watts. And while the 7-speaker system is, IMO, very well balanced, I'm thinking the 440 watts is a peak spec. But easily this system is pulling 200 watts RMS. Very little distortion until you hit those last 2-3 bars (out of 50) of the volume curve. This is over bluetooth using 256bit Apple AAC format. I am loving the XM radio options. But for true audiophiles, I wouldn't use that to test the quality of your system. It's way too compressed across most of the channels.

 

I loved this color from the first time I saw it on the TRD Pro Tundra though I'd seen it on previous Yotas like the FJs... I also kinda like that it's NOT the most popular color. Congrats OP I get mine next week God willing. Also didn't get the JBL Premium tech on mine but same truck and color.
