    Thanks again all.

And yes...loggin' on here does make one want to go down the mod road. In due time I may want to do a few things. But I'll never have the awesome modded trucks some of you guys/gals have.

Some of y'all rock the mods...BIG TIME. And I love it.

I'm feelin' like a kid at Christmas with a new toy...can't wait to go drive the truck this mornin'. Funny how a new truck (that fits me) can make this 50 y/o guy feel 20 all over again. Now...if I could get the wife to act 20 again...LoL

Thanks for sharing. I am in the market for a DC to haul my pop-up camper. I now know the SR5 without the TRD bling is more suitable for me. I too am a 1% 56 year old. Mine will be white if I can find one.
Dealer said since the NUMMI plant in Fremont closed, Tacomas are scarce. He said they are now built in Houston along with the Tundra in the same factory. Any truth in that?

^^The plant info is true. The 'scarce' info is BS to keep his commission up.

I gotta agree w/ Aero on this one.

My stealership in Panama City Beach, Florida has a lot full of 2010's and 2011's on the way. If I were you I'd do a web search near you...any dealer will get the truck you want from another dealer close by.

    BTW...my truck build:
According to the sticker on the window...The motor and transmission are made In the USA.

The truck is 50% US/Canada parts...35% Japan. God only knows where the other 15% are? Mars? LoL

Final assembly in Tijuana, Mexico & Baja California.

Indeed I will...mostly sandy trails and scrubby woods. We don't have a lot of hills and rocks in these parts.

    I ain't skeered. :D

I used to have tan interior in my old Tacoma my new one is grey. It's tough man, I like them both. The truck looks great though.

And congrats on a SMART purchase. Buying what you need and are going to use instead of just the fancy crap you dont need.
