    Still looks good man. I have a baja want 285s but am scared of rubbing cab mounts and flares. So I am gonna play it safe and 255s.

    I know they will fit I have them on my truck now. :) like to have 285s but going 255 route.

    why would u put a smaller then stock tire on your truck? go bigger or leave it alone bro :rolleyes:

    255s are bigger 255/80 16 is a 33 inch tire just not as wide as 285s.

    doesnt look near as good as 285s its a trd pro and looks great stock. dont go putting pizza cutter tires on it.

    That was my thought as the TRD Pro gives you the lift to fit the tires but does not change the stock bump stops and such so at full compression it should still hit all of the normal spots. Didn't see any real crossed up pics and it appears that the bed was empty so no real load (though it seems folks don't have issues with the rears, mainly the fronts. The Pro wheels do have a slight bit more offset than stock, but not much.

    I never got bit by the 33" bug. I figured too much trouble and expense for 1/2" more ground clearance. 255's had a little more appeal, but 265/75/16's on the stock wheels were fine. Limited tire manufacturer choices with 255's.
