Havent seen this one mentioned yet.
Old orange from hf finally died...when I loaned it out.
I didnt go hf this time because that thing only had one speed on release...full on down!

Sounds like the hf ones have gotten better.

No problem lifting both fronts when I did my shocks recently.
    Love the swivel handle.
Not a bad jack for the price and 10% off.
I have no use for a low profile at this time.

I just purchased this exact one today which has a coupon code (39747897) that you can use until December 15th for additional $30.00 off of $199.00. It has great reviews. You can choose from colors black, green, or orange.

Usually the slamming down is caused by blown seals from over tightening the handle at some point.

Do you guys have any suggestions for a jack to carry with me in the truck? I just checked my truck, between having the TSB leaf springs and one size larger on tires I am not able to get the OEM piston Jack to lift the frame enough to change spare tire. I know obviously a hi-lift jack which I could mount in the bed, but I'm sure there are other things.

hi lift jack is not ideal for changing tires. Expensive option but well worth the money is Pro Eagle, light weight, plenty of height, and they sell replacement parts to rebuild it if needed.

I have #3. Been working well the past 2 years. My only gripe is it's huge in my small garage.

And, like 99% of HF 20-25% off coupons, they cannot be used on jacks.
