Ahh, that's where I have seen your name! I go there occasionally to catch up. Here in Poway, a new gun range opened. Poway Weapons and Gear. Really awesome range with good people. There is a really good looking woman working behind the gun sales counter packing heat! Gotta love a woman with a gun strapped to her hip!!!

 

Where is that range? Like, what's it by?

The range is in the Poway business Park on Scripps Poway Parkway. Have to look up the address. East side of Community opposite of Andersons Nursery.

Sold my 09 Screaming Eagle Road Glide to help pay on the new truck. Garage looks bare with only one Harley in it.

 

Reminds me of the time a home security sales man came up to my house while I was outside. I was like if the person is still alive when the dogs are done with em I got more.....

By odd coincidence, on my street, most of my neighbors are cops, correction officers, firemen, and many military retirees, almost all with dogs to boot ... the ADT guy came through pitching their alarm systems ... and pretty much was turned away except by a couple houses. My next door neighbor, an AK State Trooper, remarked to me, "on this street, bad guys don't stand a snowballs chance in hell, ADT is pointless."

 

Hey Buddy yeah long time no talk....Thats really funny buddy. My wife asked me what the heck I was laughing at haha. Yeah Plus my marked car sits in the driveway with K9 crap written all over it and dept. mandated signs around the outside of the house that say warning Bad dog Police K9...I just thought this guy has balls as big as my GSD's or he's just really bored.

Man gas is $1.99 here in Florida.

 

Yeah, for me, the marked trooper cruiser parked next door 14 hrs of every day is a much more effective deterrent than any alarm system/signs I could spend my money on.

 

That sucks...1.99 a gallon. We get relief if we go to Arizona where its over a dollar cheaper. So we pay 2.50.

 

Sold my last Harley last month...after 35 years of riding The MX-5 took over.

Owned a 2013 Heritage, 2014 EG Classic and recently a 2011 1200C... If I still lived out west, I would still be riding. Probably not an air cooled bike though. But nothing here to see and the roads are flat and mostly tree lined.

Las Vegas was the best hub for riding...Nothing but profit in every direction. San Diego was ok but I would not ride there now. It's become a metropolis. I left in 1992 (just after the helmet law was put in place) I suppose there is still some good riding around Julian and points north. Didn't care for those grooved freeways either. Always felt like a flat tire was happening

I had an FXR out there but sold it into the Harley bubble in the mid 90's and bought water cooled bikes until I moved back east.
