    Finally! ABS delete mod coming very soon. All parts ordered... Uninstall happening in the next few weeks.

    Yeah, I'm definitely excited to free up the space in the engine bay for my secondary (house) battery. I've had the ABS fuse pulled since about a week after purchasing, but am just now physically getting rid of the ABS plumbing.

    Full parts list and write up to be posted after the project is complete.

    Big day today. Installed LSC15 retrofits and removed ABS pump and re-plumbed my entire brake system. Removed the ABS to make room over the passenger fender for a second battery. Domino mods haha!

    Dual battery setup finally complete. What a day... Got off shift at 0900, got home 30 minutes later and spent the entire day in the garage. Wrapped up the project at 1800. Still not 100% happy with the battery tie-down, but it will work for now until I can fab up something better. The battery is solidly wedged in between the firewall and the Warn control box. Now, pics!

    I have pretty much the same setup as David, 4.88s with the auto with 33x10.50-15s compared to his 285/75-16s. Both tires are considered small 33s. I am at 2500 rpm at 70 mph according to the GPS.

    Thanks, Mike. Yep, running about the same RPMs as Digiratus going the same speed. Absolutely love the combination of gears and tire size with the auto.

    Thanks bro. I have 285 75 16 with auto trans, been wanting to regear but majority of my driving is freeway. I think it's pretty cool for that rpm and speed. Plus more room for 35s lol

    Thanks! It's been a lot of fun along the way. I took the charger off because of some unresolved fueling issues i couldn't pin down. Seems like happens a fair bit to 03-04 v6s with the ECTS-i throttle body.

    Thanks since I am hi jacking your thread I got question for both you running same tires as me.
    I love my 2002 4dr, bilstein shock on stock coil spring set at highest lift level. It wanders around on freeway specially over bumps. I've done and rechecked the steering column shaft mod, new sway bar n new rack plus bushings. Alighned it several times with balance but it doesn't feel right. Do you guys go through this or an I the only one? I want to keep this truck but this steering driveability is making me go crazy. Do I need aftermarket upper control arms or eibach coil spring?

    Do you have stock UCA's? And have you seen your alignment numbers? I had the same thing when I had stock coils on billies set at 1.75. Once I got new UCA's (and coil overs..) it went away

    Yes stock upper control arm. Alighned at different shops including dealer and same result. Caster at 2.4* if I remember correctly.

    Yeah, aftermarket UCAs will cure most of that. Even tho you got it aligned and they probably told you it as in spec, the specs they are referring to are for stock ride height.

    As Brian mentioned, with stock UCAs you just can't dial in enough caster to keep it from wandering at high speed.

    I find it hard to believe that they got 2.4* of caster on stock UCA. I was lucky if mine got 1* positive with stock UCA.

    The tech told me I can only get 2.1 degrees with my uniballs.. Not sure I believe that. But for sure get new UCA's, I know total chaos are very good, also Camburg. Depends how much wheeling you do. If you are mainly street with some wheeling then LR UCA's are a good choice, if you wheel a lot then I'd go uniball.
