Sounds like they should just call it the chrome package.

 

Nothing says LIMITED like chrome door handles and mirrors. Sounds more like a Pep Boys upgrade package. Pretty weak for a LIMITED package. The first gens at least got leather.

Right!!!^^^ why does every company feel the need to barf chrome on everything. Minor changes not worth a second glance IMO. I'll be keeping the 06 for awhile.

 

I'd like the turn signals in the mirrors..but why no heated mirrors ? No leather ? The seats are trimmed in softex...ok..but not completely done in it. I don't see anything in that list that my '10 Sport doesn't have already with the exception of Entune ( available on current models,no major upgrade there ).Throw a bunch of chrome on it and call it a limited? Shame on you Toyota....

The Softex is a breathable synthetic leather that is very comfortable. My friend's Prius has it and it is awesome. I personally like leather but thing the Softex is a close substitute.

 

Chrome upgrade package?! I didn't think that many government owners were switching to yota!

 

It's similar to Lorica...and that's all well and good IF the entire seat is done in it. That article said SotfTex TRIMMED sport seats.I would take that to mean standard Sport cloth seats with SofTex trim. Not a big upgrade.

Intrigued by the Softex heated seats... wonder if they will be selling a kit as a separate accessory.
